New bioactive film acting as an active principle reservoir for the integration of implants and bone regeneration

Integrating a BMP (bone morphogenetic protein) solution that stimulates bone regeneration, this natural polymer-based film is used to facilitate implant consolidation. By reinforcing the retention power of the BMP at the surface of the implant, the Laboratory LMGP team successfully controlled the quantity used of this costly protein, and ensured its delivery and bioactivity maintenance over a period of several days.
